Admission requirements
- Baccalaureate with a very strong record; a foundation year is sometimes required before the bachelor’s
- IELTS (often 6.0 to 7.0 depending on the program)
- Application via UCAS (bachelor’s) or directly to the university (master’s)
- Personal statement and reference letters
- CAS from the university, then the student visa with proof of funds (tuition + around £1,100/month outside London)
The student visa is applied for online with your CAS, proof of funds (28 consecutive days in your account) and the IHS health surcharge. Processing: around 3 weeks.

Can I stay in the UK after graduation?
