Frequently asked questions

Who is IUM for?

Profiles aiming at finance, luxury, sport business or high-end entrepreneurship, who want a dense international network rather than a sprawling campus.

Do I need to speak French?

No: every IUM programme is taught in English. French remains an asset for daily life and for internships on the Riviera.

Where do students live?

Most students live in Beausoleil, Menton or Nice, on the French side, where rents are more reasonable: campus is a few minutes away by bus or train.

What careers follow IUM?

Private banking, wealth management, luxury houses (LVMH, Richemont), F1 and sports agencies: in Monaco, Geneva, London, Paris and Dubai. Monaco residents pay 0% income tax.

Can I stay and work after graduating?

Yes: a job in Monaco triggers the Monegasque work permit, and the French visa opens the 12-month “job search” permit to work in France.
